Shape a modeling presence around the work you want to make next
Models guidance for a clear professional presence and a thoughtful first request.
Show range with intention
A modeling portfolio should help someone understand how you move, take direction and appear across different visual conditions. Build a sequence with portraits, full-length frames, movement, expression and detail when those choices matter to the work you want next. A small, current edit is easier to assess than a long archive with repeated looks.
Write the context that changes the image: editorial study, personal test, campaign sample or completed commission. Keep photographer, stylist, client and usage claims accurate and publish only images you are authorised to share.
- Lead with a current frame that represents your direction.
- Add full-length and detail views when they help evaluate fit.
- Label studies and previews clearly.
Describe how you collaborate
Use your profile to state the kinds of projects, locations and collaboration modes you are open to. Mention preparation, travel, call-time preferences and boundaries that a first request should respect. A starting range is useful context; final timing, usage and compensation belong in the conversation and accepted Agreement.
If several practices belong to you, keep them in optional portfolios under one personal profile. That structure lets a person understand your work without forcing you into a single hire or provider identity.
Protect your yes
Ask who will be present, where the work will happen, what will be captured, how images will be used and who can approve changes. You can ask for a written scope, pause while you review it or decline when the context is incomplete. A request is not a booking, and a portfolio save is not consent.
Keep accepted terms visible through Production. If the look, hours, deliverables or usage changes, ask for a new version or amendment so your decision remains clear.
