Your profile and optional portfolios

Build one personal profile with distinct portfolios for the different sides of your creative life.

Start with the person

Use your name, bio, location and a plain description of the work you want to share. A personal profile can carry social context and conversation; an optional portfolio is the focused practice you choose to publish. The two should feel connected without collapsing every part of your identity into one sales page.

Choose a primary role or practice that helps discovery, then add adjacent skills in your bio, services and tags. Write for the person deciding whether to ask a question. Concrete language about materials, visual direction, locations and project types is more useful than broad praise.

  • Add name, location, headline and short bio.
  • Choose the practice you want understood first.
  • Add a portfolio only when its selection is ready.

Keep claims and permissions accurate

Describe only work, credits and relationships that are true and yours to share. If an image belongs to another person or contains a private project, check permission and credit before publishing. A profile can explain your practice; it cannot create verification, client proof or an endorsement.

Use separate portfolios when your roles need different sequences or audiences. Keep each one internally coherent and state what kind of collaboration it represents. This makes a public page easier to read while preserving one account and one person-first identity.

Review before publishing

Open the page on a narrow and wide screen. Check the opening image, crop, links, contact route, services and wording. Ask whether a visitor can tell what you do, where you work and what a first request should contain.

Publishing changes public discovery; it does not make a date available or accept a project. Keep private production detail in a brief or project record and update the portfolio when your practice changes.
