Understand export, deactivate and deletion
Account controls preserve necessary project history while making the next step explicit.
Prepare before changing the account
Export the information you want to keep, review active collaborations and save any project context you need to reference. Check whether a portfolio is public, whether requests are open and whether a safety or delivery matter still needs attention.
Deactivation, sign-out and deletion have different consequences. Read the control’s wording and record the request status shown by the account surface before assuming that access or data has changed.
- Export your personal snapshot.
- Review active Intent, Agreement and Production records.
- Close or pause public intake when appropriate.
Understand project continuity
A personal profile can be hidden or access can be paused while an accepted Agreement, delivery or safety record still needs to remain available to its participants. Shared history should keep enough context to explain the work without leaving a public profile active by accident.
Review the status of a deletion request in Settings. Active work or necessary shared evidence may affect what can be removed. If you change your mind while the request is pending, use Cancel request. Deactivation remains a separate, reversible way to pause your public presence.
Submit a clear request
Use the account control provided for the action and include only the explanation needed to process it. Re-authentication or an ownership check may be required. Keep any confirmation or request identifier for your records.
If a request cannot be completed because a project, safety matter or legal obligation needs review, the account surface should make the state explicit. Do not send sensitive documents through an unverified email or chat link.
