Terms of service

Responsibilities, rights and clear expectations for creative collaboration on PoseLane.

Policy preview · This version accompanies the product demo. Final service terms and privacy notices must be approved before a live launch.

1. Understanding these terms

PoseLane gives people a place to share creative work, discover collaborators and organise a project from an initial idea through agreement and production. These terms describe responsibilities when using that service and the choices that remain between participants.

Read the terms together with the Privacy policy, Community guidelines and any conditions presented for a particular feature. Do not accept a project or use a feature if you do not understand the relevant conditions. The demo notice above explains the status of this policy version.

    2. What PoseLane provides

A personal profile is your presence on PoseLane. You may publish optional portfolios for different practices, share posts, follow people and take part in communities. Private planning holds an early idea, references and a shortlist before you choose to contact anyone.

PoseLane connects a direct request, versioned agreement, conversation and production record. It facilitates that workflow and is not a participant in the agreement between collaborators. Discovery, a profile view, a saved portfolio or a message does not establish availability, verification or a confirmed engagement.

      3. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials private and use your own account. One person can maintain several portfolios without creating a separate identity for each role. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent a company, client relationship or professional qualification.

You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact support. Use account recovery rather than sending a password or recovery token to another member. Eligibility and any permission required from a parent or guardian remain subject to applicable law.

        4. Profiles, portfolios and shared content

You retain the rights you hold in your content. By publishing it, you permit PoseLane to store, process and display it to the audience you select as needed to provide the service. This permission does not give another member a general licence to reuse your work.

Only upload material you are entitled to share. Obtain appropriate consent for identifiable people, honour confidentiality and describe your contribution accurately. Do not publish unlawful, harmful, stolen or misleading material. Unpublishing a portfolio controls discovery; it does not erase an agreement or delivery that another participant relies on.

          5. Requests, agreements and production

A private brief expresses intent. A direct request invites discussion. Neither reserves time, charges money or creates an accepted agreement. Both participants must review and accept the same agreement version before treating the work as agreed.

Participants are responsible for scope, dates, location, deliverables, compensation or creative exchange, usage, revisions and other accepted terms. A proposed change clears the relevant pending acceptance; an amendment to agreed work takes effect through the explicit acceptance flow while earlier evidence remains available.

Delivery, feedback and completion are separate steps. Completion does not automatically publish files, create a review or confirm a contribution credit. Paid and unpaid or TFP projects both require clear expectations; a creative exchange does not itself grant unlimited image usage.

            6. Optional assistance and image editing

Creative assistance produces suggestions for your review. Before external AI processing, PoseLane asks for recorded consent covering the requested purpose. You decide whether to apply or discard the result. Check names, claims, prices, dates, tone and rights before using any generated text or image.

AI can make mistakes or suggest unsuitable changes. Do not use it to invent credentials, clients, endorsements, reviews or confirmed credits, or to make commitments on someone else’s behalf. An image enhancement preserves the original as a separate source; inspect the derivative before sharing it. Withdrawing consent stops future processing, but cannot undo an earlier completed provider request.

Availability and quotas depend on the enabled feature. A disabled assistant does not send a generation request. Local editing controls can still be used without sending the image to an AI provider.

              7. Prices, payments and plans

Payment, payout and subscription services are turned off in this demo. Displayed amounts and plan descriptions are illustrative. Saving plan interest does not start a subscription or authorise a charge.

If paid services are enabled, the applicable amount, currency, billing interval, provider and conditions must be shown before checkout. The participants’ agreement and the provider’s payment record serve different purposes. A settlement hold, refund request or recorded operation is not a guarantee that funds have moved.

PoseLane does not describe this demo as escrow, custody or guaranteed payment. Do not infer a platform refund promise from an illustrative project cancellation. Any live payment or subscription will be subject to the conditions actually presented for that service.

                8. Rights, usage and credit

Agree where finished work may appear, for how long, in which channels and with which edits. Record restrictions and approval responsibilities in the agreement. If proposed use exceeds that scope, obtain further permission before using the work.

Contribution confirmation records another participant’s confirmation in a particular project. It is distinct from a review, a platform verification badge and an ownership transfer. PoseLane’s own software, design and branding remain subject to their respective intellectual-property rights.

                  9. Community conduct and safety

Treat people and boundaries with respect. Do not harass, threaten, spam, discriminate unlawfully, evade a block or use the service to deceive people. Obtain consent before sharing private messages, location details or confidential production material.

Use report and block controls when appropriate. A report creates a record for review; it does not promise a particular decision or response time. Blocking limits new contact while preserving necessary participant access to existing project evidence. In an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

                    10. Service limits and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or a particular discovery, collaboration, payment, review or credit outcome. Keep copies of important originals and accepted terms that you need to retain.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PoseLane is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights, statutory protections or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

                      11. Suspension, deactivation and deletion

Accounts or content may be restricted when needed to address policy violations, security concerns or misuse. Account controls let you deactivate your account or request deletion. Resolve active work before requesting deletion so that another participant is not left without a necessary next step.

Deletion is reviewed through the account lifecycle. Some agreement, delivery, safety or audit records may remain where required for participant access, security or other legitimate retention purposes. A terminal deletion state does not promise that every copy of previously shared material disappears from another person’s possession.

                        12. Applicable law and unresolved disagreements

These terms operate subject to applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections, venue rules and other rights that apply to you are not displaced by this document. This preview does not designate an unverified operating entity or jurisdiction.

For a collaboration disagreement, retain the accepted agreement and relevant delivery evidence, describe the issue clearly and use the available project or reporting process. PoseLane’s records can support a discussion; they do not replace independent advice or determine every legal right between participants.

                          13. Changes to the service and terms

Features and these terms may change. The current published version should identify the terms that apply before a new paid service or other material commitment is accepted. A change to platform terms does not silently rewrite an agreement already accepted between collaborators.

Review any notice of material changes and the choices it presents. If you no longer wish to use the service, export the records you need and use account controls to end your participation while addressing outstanding work.

                            14. Questions and contact

For questions about this policy, contact legal@poselane.com. For account access or product help, use the Help guides or write to support@poselane.com. Include the relevant feature or public page and a concise description of the question.

Do not email passwords, recovery tokens, card details or unnecessary identity documents. A mail link opens your email application; submitting a question does not itself change a project agreement or complete an account deletion request.
