Show hair work through preparation, texture and production context
Hair stylists guidance for a clear professional presence and a thoughtful first request.
Build a useful visual sequence
Include detail and full-look frames that show texture, shape, finish and how the hair photographs under different light. Add a short context note for editorial, event, education, personal study or production work. The sequence should reveal technique and the kind of direction you enjoy.
Use your own work or images you are authorised to publish. Separate a visual reference from a claim that you completed the look for a named client.
- Show finish, texture and process when useful.
- Use captions to explain your role.
- Choose current work that reflects your next direction.
Plan the real conditions
Timing, hair preparation, product needs, assistants, tools, touch-ups, models and travel can change the scope. Ask what the team needs from you and what it will provide. State lead-time preferences without presenting them as a calendar guarantee.
A project brief can carry references and an expected window. The request and accepted Agreement should settle the actual call time, deliverables, usage and exchange.
Agree on changes
If the look, hours, number of people or delivery changes, keep the new scope in the Agreement version or amendment. A message can explain why the change is needed, but it should not leave either person guessing about what they accepted.
After delivery, keep review comments specific to the work and project context. Completion does not automatically create public credit or permission to publish behind-the-scenes material.
