Privacy policy

What information PoseLane uses, who can see it and the choices you control.

Policy preview · This version accompanies the product demo. Final service terms and privacy notices must be approved before a live launch.

1. Your information and your choices

PoseLane uses information to support your creative presence and the collaborations you choose to pursue. This policy explains the information involved, its audience, optional processing choices and account controls.

A profile, portfolio and public post serve a different audience from a private brief, conversation or project agreement. Review that audience when sharing content. This policy version accompanies the demo described above; it does not assert a production location or response commitment that has not been established.

    2. Information you provide

Account information includes your name, email address and authentication information. Profile information can include a bio, location, languages, links, working preferences and images. Optional portfolios hold the work and scope you choose to present.

Collaboration records can include private briefs, references, shortlists, requests, agreement versions, messages, delivery files, feedback, reviews, contribution claims and issue reports. We also retain settings, consent choices and the history needed to explain important changes. Password handling belongs to the authentication service; passwords are not part of a public profile.

      3. Technical information

The service receives technical information needed to answer requests and protect accounts, such as session identifiers, request timing and connection information. Rate limits help protect authentication and other sensitive operations.

A short-lived visitor identifier supports duplicate protection for public profile views. The stored view key is a profile-specific cryptographic digest rather than the visitor token itself. Optional product events use an approved set of properties; private message text, briefs and file contents are excluded from that event interface.

        4. Why information is used

Information is used to provide profiles and discovery, preserve your drafts, connect collaboration participants, deliver files to the intended audience and record the terms people accepted. Account and safety records support access controls, reporting and recovery.

Optional features use only the information needed for the task you request. Product analytics and marketing choices are separate from essential account operation. Saving a private brief does not authorise a matching team to inspect it: matching requires the explicit sharing choices presented with the brief.

          5. Who can see content

Published profiles, portfolios and public posts can be read by visitors. Audience controls limit other posts, and private planning remains account-scoped. Project conversations, agreements and deliveries are available to their participants where the workflow requires them.

Authorised staff can access information needed for their role, such as a reported item, an account lifecycle request or a brief whose owner consented to matching. Staff permissions are checked by the service. Hiding or unpublishing content removes public access while necessary participant or review history may remain.

            6. Service providers and other disclosures

PoseLane uses Supabase services for authentication, database and file storage. When enabled, email delivery can use Resend, payment and subscription processing can use Stripe, product analytics can use Google Analytics, and error monitoring can use Sentry. External AI processing uses OpenRouter and the selected model endpoint only when the requested feature and consent permit it.

A provider being supported does not mean it is active. The demo keeps the relevant external services off unless explicitly configured. We do not sell personal data. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or in a business transition subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements. Do not place card details or authentication secrets in a message or brief.

              8. Cookies, notifications and optional measurement

Essential session cookies support sign-in and request security. A language preference stores your chosen interface language. The profile-view visitor cookie lasts up to twelve hours and is used to avoid counting the same visit repeatedly.

Email and push preferences are stored by category. Marketing consent and optional product analytics can be changed in Settings. Notification delivery checks the current preference again before sending. Optional analytics events are not accepted for a signed-in account that has not consented.

When enabled and consented, diagnostic replay is configured to mask text and inputs and block media. Error monitoring excludes default personal information and removes sensitive request context. Withdrawing analytics consent stops an active replay in the current page. No third-party advertising cookie is part of the demo configuration.

                9. Device permissions

PoseLane asks for device access only when a feature needs it. Camera and photo library access is requested when you choose to take or add an image, and nothing is captured or uploaded until you confirm that selection.

The app does not request device location, contacts or microphone access. A location shown on a profile is information the member typed, not a reading taken from the device.

Notification delivery is optional and controlled per category in Settings, and the current preference is checked again before anything is sent.

You can revoke camera, photo or notification access at any time in your device settings. Revoking access stops the related feature and leaves existing records and media unchanged.

                10. Security and file access

Access controls, database policies, authenticated sessions and scoped file permissions help protect information. Private media links are time-limited and checked against the current audience. A revoked link does not grant continuing access simply because it was issued earlier.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Use a strong password, protect recovery links and keep necessary originals in a place you control. Do not share a private export or delivery link with someone outside the intended audience. The demo does not represent a certification of a future hosting environment.

                  11. Access, correction, export and deletion

You can edit your profile, change preferences, unpublish a portfolio and request an account export from Settings. The export contains eligible records and media references; it does not bundle original file bytes. Download important originals separately from Your library.

Account deactivation and deletion are different actions. A deletion request passes through review and may require active work to be resolved. Shared agreement, delivery and safety evidence can remain when another participant or a legitimate retention purpose requires it. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to processing, request correction or exercise other statutory rights. Contact privacy@poselane.com to discuss a request that the account controls do not cover.

                    12. Retention and processing locations

Information remains while needed to operate the account, maintain collaboration evidence, address safety and security concerns or meet applicable obligations. Different record types can have different retention needs; requesting deletion does not imply that every historical record is immediately erased.

External services may process information outside your country when an enabled feature needs them. The service’s actual deployment and provider arrangements determine those locations. This demo does not claim that its storage is in the location of an earlier PoseLane deployment. A live deployment must identify its applicable arrangements and transfer safeguards.

                      13. Young people and policy changes

People using PoseLane must meet applicable eligibility requirements and obtain any permission required by law. Do not upload another person’s sensitive information without authority. If you believe a child’s information has been supplied inappropriately, contact the privacy address so the concern can be reviewed.

Updates to this policy will be published with the current version. A material change to optional processing should be accompanied by the relevant notice and consent choices. A policy update does not turn a previously private brief into publicly shared content or replace an existing choice to decline optional analytics.

                        14. Contact

For privacy questions or a data request, write to privacy@poselane.com. Describe the account control or information involved and the result you are seeking. Provide only the details needed to identify and handle the request.

Never email a password, recovery token, payment credential or unnecessary identity document. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account before making a change. The request’s status and any retained shared evidence should be explained through the available account or support process.
